The issues can become complex. An F&N client was selling its patent over time and simultaneously licensing the patent to the buyer. The buyer stopped paying. A series of related documents implicated several different rights. After suit was commenced, F&N negotiated a resolution that regained the IP for the client along with a sizable payment from the buyer.
